Real or Fake
Research shows “people who frequently smile are perceived to be more in control, at ease and attractive than those who don’t.”
The great news is the smile can be real or fake. They both have the same happy, powerful results.
For today’s Happiness Challenge, in addition to our lists of gratitude, let’s focus on smiling.
Smile all darn day. Smile at everyone you pass. And at yourself in the mirror. Just smile.
And soak in the happy, healthy glow that comes with it.
Health Benefits of Smiling
“A good smile can brighten up the room. People who frequently smile are perceived to be more in control, at ease and attractive than those who don’t (Lau, 1982). However, a genuine smile may do more than just improve your appearance. New research has found a strong connection between smiling and your general health and well-being.”

That smile on my sweet granddaughter, Hudson is as real as they get. Beautiful smile, sweetie, I love you and miss you. Kristi, sorry I got busy and flaked on the Happiness challenge. I will start over when I get back but believe me, I am grateful for everyday of my life right now. I am the luckiest woman in the world!
Today I am grateful for -
1. Being spoiled all day.
2. Waking up before the 4:45 am alarm.
3. Full strength coffee.
